How We Protect Your Personal Information

We can assure our customers that their data is safe and not at risk. Jebbit is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant, with annual audits, and is GDPR and CCPA compliant. Our services and data are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which serves as the industry leader in physical and software security standards. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2, and data at rest is encrypted with AES-GCM 256 bit encryption. 

Consumer Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is retained for a period of time deemed appropriate for Jebbit to carry out its services for its customer base. After this period, the data is redacted from the database and is irrecoverable. Customers may opt to reduce this retention period on an as needed basis. 

User data is stored in a manner that upholds relevant data privacy laws (e.g. GPDR, CCPA). . We take the security of our customers' data very seriously and have implemented multiple security measures to protect their data. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates if there are any changes.

Strong Information Security Protocols
Jebbit’s centralized platform security ensures that every aspect of the platform is protected at all times. Jebbit maintains a grade A encryption rating from SSL security firm Qualys for all data in transit and at rest. In addition, Jebbit has hundreds of security controls that are tested annually by a third-party auditor.

Strong Personnel Security Protocols
Jebbit employs personnel security protocols that ensure your information is protected by not only our software, but also our team. All employees sign an NDA, undergo mandatory data security training, and must pass a background check.

Only team members with a legitimate need can access client information. Members of the Jebbit team that can access client data sign a strict confidentiality agreement and an additional client data access policy. 

Jebbit’s GDPR & CCPA compliance extends from our data security protocols to our HR practices. Keeping your information safe is ingrained in our company operations.

Child-specific terms

Jebbit understands that children’s privacy is important. We encourage parents and legal guardians to spend time with their age-appropriate children using the Services to be fully familiar with the Service features. By using or logging into the Service, we may ask users for their age. By using or logging into the Service or related features, you agree to respond truthfully and accurately about your age.

Children Under the Age of 16: The Service is prohibited to children under the age of 16. We will not knowingly collect or use personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. Children under the age of 16 years of age are expressly prohibited from submitting or posting any personal information on the Service.Jebbit supports Age Gating functionality in further efforts to ensure this.
