Last weekend the Jebbit team packed up some tents and sunscreen, piled into a couple cars, and headed down to the Cape to celebrate the Fourth of July and the closing of the second quarter, per Jebbit tradition. For three days Wellfleet was full of family, friends, oysters, games, and visits to the illustrious BeachComber.
Friday was a big clambake in traditional New England style. The parade the next morning was followed by a big bonfire with lanterns and fireworks that night.
The team returned this week refreshed, sunburnt, and ready to tackle the next quarter.
