Jebbit Takes on the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS

The team at Jebbit has shown they don’t mind ice and freezing cold water especially for a good cause. The Boston based digital marketing start up which was incubated as part of the Boston College Venture Competition has taken on the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise awareness of amyotrophic lateral schlerosis (ALS).

The Ice Bucket Challenge was started by former Boston College baseball player Pete Frates who was diagnosed with ALS two years ago.  It’s gone viral and drawn participation companies and celebrities alike–Justin Timberlake, Matt Lauer and Ethel Kennedy (who challenged President Obama earlier this week).

Jebbit nominated three Boston start ups: DrizlyAttend.com, and BostInno to complete the challenge within 24 hours.

The ALS Foundation has reportedly raised $4 million since July 29th thanks to the Ice Bucket Challenge.
