Who Can Jebbit?

What do I need to be eligible to use Jebbit?

At the moment, you must be enrolled in a university or college in the United States to use Jebbit. That means you will need to verify your account with a valid .edu email address that you have access to.

Why do you have these restrictions?

As a young startup, we are expanding rapidly. As a way to keep our users satisfied we have decided to focus on the college market first since that is the market that we feel we know best as college students ourselves.

What if I can't / don't want to use WePay?

We are coming out with an awesome feature within the next couple of weeks that will allow you to use your Jebbit cash for other things. We can't say much now, but the $20 you earn on Jebbit could get you awesome prizes such as an iPad!

Why do I have to use Facebook to login?

Since we are essentially giving out free money, we need to make sure that people don't create many accounts to get more than their fair share of cash & deals. We also need some basic information from you so we show you things that we know you'll like.

What is the "basic information" that you take from my Facebook?

We pull the following information from Facebook: name, gender, birthday, current city, email and university information. For a majority of users, most if not all of this information is publicly available already.

Will Jebbit post to my Facebook timeline?

We will NEVER post anything on your timeline, status, etc. without your explicit permission. There may be some questions on our site that prompt you to "Like" a company, but you can skip the question or tweet about it instead.

What's the catch?

No catch. Seriously, companies pay us to pay you to check out their products. You will NEVER EVER have to pay for anything. In fact, we don't even ask for a credit card or any other payment information. When we pay you, it is through a secure third party and you get your cash in a couple of days.

What types of companies will I be checking out?

Right now we are running campaigns for national brands such as Bose and Zipcar, local businesses like Bluestone Bistro and the BC Bookstore, and fascinating startups such as StarStreet Fantasy Sports and DateMySchool. Many of these businesses are offering exclusive deals just for learning about what they do.

How much can I earn?

Users are currently earning at a rate of about $19.00 an hour, and that doesn't include the value of the deals. Technically, there is no limit to the amount of cash you can earn. We are constantly adding new companies, so the more you visit Jebbit, the more cash and deals you will get!

How do I get my money?

Jebbit uses WePay to send you your cash quickly and securely. You can either have WePay send you a check for the amount that you earn, or you can link your bank account to WePay and directly deposit your earnings.

How long does it take for the email to get to me after I redeem my cash?

We usually send out payments at the end of the day, so if you do not receive an email about your payment within 72 hours of clicking redeem, please contact us at support@jebbit.com
